When running Trek 2000 for the first time, you will be asked for your registration name and product key. Make sure you have received the information from your vendor or from GMA directly.

You may run a limited version of Trek 2000 by pressing Enter when you are asked for your registration name. You will only be allowed to make the first nine moves, but it is hoped that this will allow you to evaluate whether you like the game. If you decide you do, you can purchase Trek 2000 and later enter your registration name and product key to access the full version!

To get started playing Trek 2000, you may read the Trek 2000 manual in text format by selecting this option from the Trek 2000 Start menu. During the game, you can select help from the menus, or if you are in command line mode, by typing the word "HELP" followed by the command you would like help with.
